Blend 2015 Recap Day #3

I'm back! Here is a recap of the last day of the Blend Retreat:

Sunday
This morning started off with one of my favorites, a lovely yoga class sponsored by Bhakti Chai. They also were the ones who provided us the yoga mat from Gaiam that was in our swag bag! The yoga mat was their moisture wicking Sol Dry Grip mat. It values at about $69, making this one of the nicest mats I've ever had! What a wonderful experience to take a yoga class outside, on a beautiful morning, and with an amazing view of the Flatirons in the distance.

When yoga was finished, we headed to another yummy breakfast that was sponsored by Barbara's, Epic Seed, Baobab, and GoodBelly

Breakfast!
After breakfast, we cleaned up our cabin, checked out, and headed to the closing ceremony which was sponsored by NestFresh Eggs. I often buy NestFresh Eggs because they are always 100% Cage Free. The closing ceremony also included a fantastic raffle where everyone won something, how great is that!

The sponsors for Blend were amazing and there is proof in the swag bag below:

Brenna thought it was pretty amazing too!

At the raffle I won some Quinn Popcorn samples! If you haven't heard of them, you must check them out! The Kale seasoned popcorn is really yummy and I can't wait to try the 2 flavors of the microwave bags I received.

All in all, I'm glad I attended this event. It was really well put together and it was nice that it was a smaller group of bloggers. It was definitely different for me because I brought my husband and baby, so I wasn't as social as I could have been otherwise. However, I'm totally okay with that because that is the wonderful place I'm in at my life right now. I'm so glad I waited until my 30's to have kids. The maturity of this age means that I don't let trivial things bother me like they might have in younger years. Plus, lately the struggle of meeting "mommy" friends (which is much harder than I thought it would be) made me appreciate my family and the friends I do have (even though they are spread our across the country) even more.

It was fantastic meeting the company reps. of many of the sponsors. I really enjoy learning about new products as well as how companies market etc. If I hadn't followed my passion and majored in Dance in college, maybe I would have studied marketing. I find it pretty fascinating!

I was able to connect with some of the reps and I'm excited to introduce you all to some of their products in upcoming posts. I have some great giveaways to tell you about too, so stay tuned!!

Ciao,

Betsy
